Enrichment Options
UCU offers several enrichment options for students:
- Minors
Students may apply to have a minor recognized part of the UCU program. A minor consists of four disciplinarily related courses, at least one at the 300-level. Minor programs are approved in any of the four departments, ACC, HUM, SCI or SSC. - International Exchange
Students in good academic standing (GPA ≥ 3.0) can apply to go on exchange for one semester (4th or 5th semester of program). International exchange broadens the international perspective of students, and offers students the possibility of take courses in specializations not offered at UCU. - Honors Thesis
High-achieving students (GPA > 3.5) who have completed advanced courses in a relevant field may apply to complete an Honors Thesis. This allows them to do additional independent research, above and beyond the required research project/internship, and thus to broaden and deepen their academic profile. - Off-campus Courses
Students may take up to three courses at other university faculties. This option allows students to take courses that fall outside the scope of offerings at UCU.
